This Vinho Licoroso Tinto, is produced at a premier winery in Portugal from some of the best grapes specially chosen to make this a great wine. This wine has been fortified not with any ordinary brandy but with a very superior AGUARDENTE matured over a long period of time.
It is this maturation in casks that has imparted to the wine a ruby colour that it so proudly boasts of. Together with the woody character, this wine has a sweet taste and a pleasantly fruity aroma. Best served at 160 C -180 C 17%, v/v
